New Instructions for Poster Presentations
Student poster presenters must be at their posters for judging on Sunday, March 29th from 3:00pm- until poster judging is complete.
Also all poster presenters should be at their poster on Monday, March 30th from 10:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.
Guidelines for Posters (Students and Scientists)
1. The poster must be submitted in one of the following contemporary topic areas:
* Food Safety, Human Nutrition and Health
* Renewable Resources and Environmental Stewardship
* Small Scale Agriculture and Rural Development
* Emerging Technologies
* Human Sciences
2. The poster must have the following sections:
* Title with authors and Institution(s)
* Abstract
* Introduction
* Materials and Methods
* Results (to include charts, tables, figures and photos)
* Discussion
* Conclusion(s)
* Literature Cited
3. The poster must conform to the following specifications:
* Must fit entirely within a 4 ft. x 4 ft. area
* Lettering must be readable from 3-4 ft.
4. Eligibility
* The original research must have been primarily conducted at an 1890 Institution and primarily led by a scientist or student at that 1890 Institution
* The research can not previously have been published or be “in press”
