Call for Award Nominations
Two prestigious awards will be presented at the 15th Biennial Research Symposium. The first award is the Morrison-Evans Outstanding Scientist Award, given to an outstanding 1890 scientist. Each Research Director should select only one candidate for nomination. Information about your nominee must be presented strictly according to the guidelines. This will ensure equal treatment of all candidates.
The second award is the B. D. Mayberry Young Scientist Award, given to an outstanding young scientist. Each Research Director should select only one candidate for nomination. Information about your nominee must be presented strictly according to the guidelines. This will ensure equal treatment of all candidates.
Nominations can only be accepted from Research Directors and will be reviewed by qualified partners of the 1890 system at USDA or 1862 institutions at USDA. Nomination packets must be received by December 12, 2008 and must be submitted electronically to:
